REMEMBERING BINONDO 1945
The Wha Chi or the Philippine-Chinese Anti-Japanese Guerilla Forces was a guerilla group that fought against the Japanese during the Occupation. The group started with fifty-two young men of Chinese descent while their weapons consisted of two handguns and several old rifles. As the Wha Chi operated, more men volunteered to join their group. The Wha Chi were known for guerilla activities particularly in South Luzon.
